Ceremony at St. Michaels lutheran Church. The Rev. Rufus Mccarter officiated at the ceremony and wedding musicians were mrs. Ruby Gibson organist and miss Janie Boyles vocalist. Escorted by her father the Bride wore a gown of organza and Chantilly lace trimmed with iridescent and seed Pearl embroidery. A Pinafore effect was created by a lace Yoke and self apron bordered with ruffling. The gown featured a High neckline and Long fitted sleeves with ruffled cuffs. Her Chapel length train was edged in a deep ruffle and a Border of lace. Her bouffant veil of illusion was attached to a Bandeau of lace embroidered with pearls and iridescent. The Bride carried a nosegay of White daisies and pompous entered with a White Orchid. Attending the Bride were miss Kathy Hedrick of Winston Salem maid of Honor and mrs. Andrew Craig bridesmaid. The attendants wore gowns of Pale yellow moire fashioned with floor length skirts fitted bodices and Long yellow Chiffon sleeves. The dresses featured Green velvet ribbon sashes and they wore Matching velvet bows in their hair. They carried nosegay of yellow daisies and Gypsophila. Best Man to the bridegroom was Andrew Craig and Ushers were Don Honeycutt and Bill Cannon. Recent Bride feted mrs.
