Sears Store Ribbon Cutting For High Point Opens Tomorrow
Mayor Pro Tem Roy B Jr and Miss Diane Holt will cut the ribbon at 8 45 am for Sears Roebuck and Co new High Point store at Wrenn and High Streets. A Central High Band concert and Scout ceremony accompany the event with local officials and Sears executives attending. The store covers 71 000 sq ft with 52 departments and a 25 000 sq ft service/warehouse, plus parking for over 550 cars.

The Great Decisions discussion series at High Point Public Library is moved to February 21 due to a conflict with a Community Concert Assn. program at High Point College.
