The Kiwanians welcomed sweethearts with red carnations and gifts. Frank Wyatt died and Dr. Seca Wouees gave the invocation. The High Point Memorial Hospital School of Nursing Chorus performed under Howard Coble with Mrs. Charles McAnally on piano. A "laugh-in" with toasts to the ladies followed. A lecture on The role of the Arts in Politics was announced for UNCG Alumni Hall with Mrs. Warren Hearnes, wife of the Missouri governor, scheduled to speak. Luncheon followed.
