Ford Peace Party Had a High Old Time On Trip to Germany
The Peace train of the Ford party traveled from Warnemunde toward Bentheim with light checkpoints and little interference. Delegates enjoyed a cabaret dining car, sang wartime songs, and faced minimal searches, ending with a overnight transfer to The Hague via Bentheim and Osnabruck.
