Syphilis Cases Decline Across Nation in 1977

ATLANTA AP The CDC reports syphilis cases in the United States fell 15.3 percent in the first ten months of 1977 to 16,980 from 20,087 in the same period in 1976. The weekly health report also notes four new paralytic poliomyelitis cases this week, bringing the year total to 18.
