Wm H Watson of Florida travels to Southport to inspect Fort Caswell for a client. The Fort Caswell property transferred from the war department to new Florida owners S O Chase of Sanford and L B Skinner of Tampa. Chase and Skinner were the successful bidders when the government offered the property on September 16 last for 201500 dollars.
