Birth of a Nation Ends Local Run on Farewell Tour
D W Griffiths Birth of a Nation comes to High Point December 13 14 marking the start of a policy of high class superspectacles. C B Wagner secures its local site and will head touring productions for major companies at the High School auditorium with plans for an opera house. The show features Intolerance and Civilizaton among other works by Ince Fox and Mae Marsh Lillian Gish and Robert Harron. Tickets priced from seventy five cents to one dollar fifty with Dr Murphy giving final sermon at First Reformed Church.
