The war front shows little action on the Franco-Belgian line while German dispatches claim retreating Rumanians on all fronts. Berlin reports about 9,000 Romanians taken in yesterday’s fighting and estimates total captures near 10,000, with Bucharest entered but reportedly uninjured and virtually deserted.
Subscriptions to the Greensboro College for Women endowment and improvement fund reach 4 095 by 2 PM as local manufacturers and alumnae raise funds.
