Wealthy Textile Man Dies in Asheville
Chariles Edward Graham age 68 a prominent and wealthy cotton mill operator at Greensville South Carolina died at a local hospital at 10 o clock last night from an attack of apoplexy. The body will be taken to Greenville this afternoon where funeral services will be conducted Saturday. He was a widely known textile man in the south having resided in Asheville where he ran the wholesale business and later established the Asheville cotton mill. He and his family spent summers in Asheville and winters in Florida. He was born in Catawba county near Hickory and married Miss Susan Jordan of Chester with two children surviving.
