Bears Adjust Breeding Rates in Pisgah Study

Wayneville North Carolina AP wildlife researcher Rick Betton says bears may regulate cub production to keep populations stable. In an 18 month NC State led study funded by the Fish and Wildlife Service, hunting impact on bear numbers and reproduction is examined to balance conservation and hunting.
