Funeral Service for Parnell Held in High Point
Funeral services for David H. Parnell died last Sunday at his Centennial Avenue home were held at his residence with Rev. M L Kestler officiating. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery. Parnell, 68, a Rowan County native who lived in High Point since 1880, was a machinist. Survived by his widow two sons Charles and Hall and two daughters Mrs Albert Barbee Raleigh and Mrs T C Watson Elberton Ga. A large crowd attended the burial and floral tributes filled the grave.
