80 Gallon Still Taken Near High Point raid
Sheriff C L Gray and deputies raided the Car Hedgecock farm five miles north of High Point on the Winston Salem road Sunday night and seized an 80 gallon still. A large still was found at police HQ, with evidence of prior operation and about 300 gallons of containers nearby. Only about a gallon of whisky was captured as a man was warned off when he returned to the farm. The containers were scattered over a wide area and not all found at once.
