Sheriff Seeks Used Patrol Cars From Raleigh
Randolph County Sheriff Carl Moore plans to travel to Raleigh to acquire used patrol cars from the State Highway Patrol. He says immediate need requires three cars and he cannot wait for new vehicles, after giving his own car to a deputy whose patrol car was wrecked last month. The county board voted 3 to 2 to lift budget limits, with Langley and White opposing, allowing Moore to use funds as he sees fit within the budget.
