Girl Purgerers Sent 10 Prison for Perjury
Miss Gussie Humann aged eighteen was sentenced in New York on April 14 to not less than seven years six months nor more than fifteen years for perjury. She testified falsely for Joseph Libasei who now serves twenty years for murder. Libasei is the father of her unborn child and the shooting of Harry Garbe occurred October 2, 1921 in Woodhaven Road.

Pastor Tries Paying Income Tax Though None Due
Hartford April 14 The Rev Kenneth Mackinzie attempted to pay income tax even though none was due. He wrote to Collector Eaton saying he was disappointed and ashamed to have no tax to pay and wished to soothe his conscience by paying 22.82 dollars the same as last year.
