Circus Theme Highlights Sophomore Dance at High Point College
About 300 High Point College students and guests attended the annual Sophomore dance in Harrison Gym last night. Art Lopez and his band Iron Winston-Salem provided music as a circus theme shaped the decor with a lion cage stand and animal pictures. William Black, class president, awarded red rose corsages and boutonnieres to sponsors and escorts. Sponsors included Mary Fay Alexander with Jay Bodenheimer and several others pairing Miss Nance, Miss Glenn, Miss Thomas, Miss Cline, Miss Mills, and Miss Rada with their escorts.
