Dress theft at Hershey station ends with suspect pledging
Miss Cora Kegerreis left a silk dress in her DyI station suitcase. A young woman seen in the trolley waiting room was traced to Palmyra with the dress. The suspect pleaded guilty before Squire Huggendubler and returned the garment. No prosecution. Mr. Kogel joins Mercersburg and Tome for fall physical education plans.

African student lecturer postpones Hershey talk
African student Thomas Leigh born 1888 in Freetown Sierra Leone planned to lecture on African life at Hershey park but postponed to next Sunday at 3 pm in the theater. He will speak in native costume and request offerings. Leigh has studied at Howard University and Chicago University and aims to become a medical missionary under the United Brethren Church.

New Editor Named for Hershey Press YC A Role
Eugene W. Pocock of Blissfield Michigan was unanimously elected as the new editor of the Hershey Press and general secretary of the YMCA. He arrived in Hershey last week and has assumed duties. Pocock is a Wooster graduate who earlier led university YMCA work and later became its president. The YMCA plans a year of religious educational and social activity including a membership drive. Office location remains the Press building with room No 2 in the YMCA dormitory. Final action was taken Friday evening on selecting him.

Will Widen Culvert Near Hershey Station
About 30 workers began widening the culvert east of Hershey station on the Philadelphia and Reading railroad to allow a second track. The Philadelphia Building and Construction Company holds the contract and a shanty has been erected for laborers. Twelve car loads of sand and cement are on site.
