Hershey Park Pavilion hosts its annual Hallowe en masquerade dance on Saturday October 30. The Syncopaters of Harrisburg will provide music and a grand cake walk is planned with free admission for children under twelve in costume.
Mrs. Harry C Kaley hosted the W T W class at a masquerade party October 21. Guests gathered at the Clark home at 8 and moved to a decor arbors with corn fodder pumpkins and ghosts. After games and treats they viewed a future glimpse before departure.
Miss Ellanora Wright entertained with a lively Hallowe en gathering on October 23. Guests enjoyed games and dancing as the decorated home offered refreshments to a long list of attendees including Hershey and Lebanon residents.
The Lady voters of Derry Township are urged to cast their vote before noon at the general election on November 2 to avoid the high hours at the polls. Automobiles will call for you, Committee.
Hershey Department Store undergoes a major expansion doubling floor space to 59820 square feet across three stories. The new design features seven display windows, mahogany interiors, a jewelry and clock shop, modern bakery, refrigerated meat display, soda fountain, and a full range of departments from clothing to home furnishings. The project employs about one hundred workers with a December first opening planned for the new mega store on Chocolate and Park Avenues.

Huge Hallowe'en Social and Masquerade planned at the Men's Club Friday evening. Rooms will be festively decorated with autumn style and a varied program aims to be one of the gayest events in the club's history.
Hershey Chapter of the American Red Cross will host Dr. Green's illustrated lecture Gospel of Service in the Hershey Central Theatre. The event occurs Friday November 5 at 8 00 p m and is free to attend. It aims to spark interest in Red Cross and bolster an upcoming membership drive.
C V Glynn was honored Wednesday evening October 20 at Hershey Cafe for his fiftieth birthday anniversary. About seventy five guests attended including travelers from Harrisburg Lebanon and Hummels town. Crawford's Banjo Saxo Orchestra provided music for dancing and a buffet supper followed an intermission.
A surprise party for Miss Freeda M. Hummer marked her eighteenth birthday. Held Oct 23 at 258 Aretha Ave the gathering featured dahlias and crysanthemums decor and an opal-inspired scheme. Guests from Elizabethtown Harrisburg Piketown Middletown and neighboring areas enjoyed games music refreshments and gracious gifts.
Tickets for the Redpath Lyceum Course under John Elder Men's Bible Class go on sale Saturday afternoon October 30 at Hershey Central Theatre box office. Hours are 12 30 to 6 00 and noon to 1 00 and 6 00 to 7 00 from November 1 to 4. An extra 25 cents guarantees a chosen seat for the four entertainments.
The Annual Rally Day services will be held in Holy Trinity Lutheran Bible School on Sunday morning October 21 at 9:00. A special program will be rendered. All departments are urged to have a 100 percent attendance. All members and friends are invited to worship.
