The Red Cross Hershey Chapter will convene April 4 at two PM in the Well Baby Clinic room to discuss important issues and encourage attendance.
The Olivets plan a large closing season event on Thursday April 7 in the winter hall with Nickey's Sextette of Carlisle as the headlining act. The team finished 21 wins in 34 games, claimed the Lancaster County League title, and featured standout scorers Strine and Win Zimmerman.

The Grace M. E. Choir of Harrisburg led by Professor Bernard B. Mausert, forty voices, was to perform at the Methodist Church in Hummels Town on March 31 but was moved to April 9 due to several illness. Doors open 7:00 PM with the concert at 8:15 PM, no admission charge, free silver offering. Parents urged to keep children seated.
On Saturday March 26 the Department Store staged a remarkable sale of aluminum ware. The range included double roasters kettles stewing kettles double boilers coffee percolators and casseroles all marked Quality Brand and priced at 1.69 each. The sale opened at 10 in charge of Edward Ornstein a New York factory representative. By 5:00 p.m. over 400 articles were sold as housewives from all directions benefited from this thrift event with a sold out sign indicating high demand.
Monday evening April 4 a gala in Camp No. 706 PLO S00A affairs will feature initiation of many candidates into the order. Commandery No. 61 Warrburg will be special guests, followed by a smoker with cake. All P.O.S. or A. members invited regardless of camp.
Prof A K Ober of Elizabethtown spoke at the Central Theatre on Tuesday about his journey to Japan for the World Sunday School Convention in September 1920. He described reception by cities, the fire that destroyed the convention building, Japanese customs and modernization, with vivid slides and strong audience interest.
