Senior Class Concert by The Grand Concert Company
The Grand Concert Company from Ithaca Conservatory of Music will present a benefit musical for the Senior class of the High school at the Iroquois theater on March 14. The four young ladies are highly recommended and have earned praise for performances across twenty two states. Miss Doyle the sixteen year old violinist captivates audiences though her bow, Miss Covey the mezzo soprano commands a wide range and heartfelt tone.

Students dressed as diverse characters for Palmyra High School Masquerade. Miss Jestina Dis singer as Buster Brown won the ladies prize. Mr Paul Longencke in Cutie? won the boys prize. Prof C W Bachman judged best. Mr George Heisey ate prize contents before students. Claude Kreinfelter displayed banana eating prize. Games, refreshments in Japanese fashion, and singing by Charles Walmer concluded the evening. The event was deemed a grand success and memorable for the school.

Death of William H. Ulrich prominent Hummelstown banker
William H. Ulrich 68 cashier of the Farmer's Bank in Hummelstown died at his home after two weeks illness from heart failure. A former state legislator and county surveyor he was president of Annville Mutual Fire Insurance, trustee of Lebanon Valley College, Mason, United Brethren Church leader, and helped build the new church. Survived by his wife.

This afternoon Mr. Rose, a Civil War veteran, will speak to Palmyra schoolchildren about Indian battles he participated in. He will sing Indian selections including a war dance and war whoop. Admission is ten cents.
