The Hershey Store will receive major exterior show window upgrades over the next weeks. Architect Urban designed, Lancaster contractor W H Flick overseeing construction. Four 28 foot and two 8 foot windows will feature mahogany finishes, frosted upper glass, copper cornices, and Love Brothers ventilation.

Thousands of Blooming Roses on Big Hill Near Hershey
The big hill overlooking Hershey hosts a mass of roses in red pink and yellow as part of a bank planting experiment. More than 800 bushes cover 500 feet of bank beside the twin springs on Northside Drive creating a famed Lebanon Valley sight praised for beauty. Over 40 000 plants fill the area with planned color effects while yellow lilies and other blooms follow on adjacent slopes. A trolley run to the summit drew steady business last Sunday and visitors are urged to see the spectacle even by foot with a few young women cooking breakfast on an oil stove high on the hill.
