Oil and Gravel Road Experiments in Massachusetts
Massachusetts highway tests use an oil and gravel mix on a dilapidated section. They heated oil and asphalt, heated sand and gravel, then combined them on platforms and spread the hot mixture with careful tamping and a ten ton roller.
