New Trust Company Building To Be Rushed

Hershey plans a modern marble and brick bank and office building costing about seventy five to one hundred thousand dollars. The Hershey Trust Company and Farm Railway and Improvement Company will occupy floors with vaults and a skylight for daylight. Construction by Titzel of Lancaster will be completed as soon as possible.

Hershey August Church Services At Hershey Park Theater

Residents of Hershey and nearby areas are invited to union church services conducted by the United Brethren and Presbyterian Churches each Sunday in August at the Hershey Park Theater.

Ye Merrie Hershey Dance A Social Success

Mr and Mrs Ezra Hershey hosted Ye Merrie Hershey Dance at the Hershey Cafe honoring Misses Helen Bitzer Jane Donnegan and Helen Virden. Guests came from multiple towns including Lancaster Scranton Lewes Bever ly and Hum melstown with twenty five couples dancing to the Hershey Orchestra.

Hershey Park Theatre to Present Strong Stock Company

The Hershey Park Theatre announces next week’s show will feature a top stock company, comparable to the Perry Players. Management aims for only the best and promises no second performances for poor shows, pledging to bring highly entertaining and instructive productions to audiences.

Vaudeville at Hershey Park This Week

Beginning Wednesday evening and continuing through the week Hershey Park presents vaudeville with Made line Burdette Lovett and Nelson Troupe four acrobats Hamilton and Howlett musical comedy Eddie Horan and Lovett Bros on stilts.

Entertainment Course Planned For Next Winter

A joint YMCA and YWCA committee outlined a six act entertainment course for next winter. Three numbers will feature local performers including Hershey band and a choral Society concert and home talent act. Two others will be from Colt Lyceum Bureau with Neapolitans Italian orchestra and Elias Gray as well as L B Wickersham lecturing. Dates not yet fixed.

Hershey Chautauqua season tickets go on sale August 1

The Hershey Chautauqua week of September 4 to 10 starts ticket sales August 1. A broad local campaign will push tickets through Hershey and nearby towns to reach all interested. Sunday programs include a three o clock session with Mrs. Duryea and a 7:30 evening sermon by A I Downey, both led by local churches. Reed-Doerr Concert Company provides sacred music. no admission charged for either session.

Rev Turner to Speak at Union Church Meeting

Rev George H Turner of Philadelphia is set as the first speaker for the union church meetings in August at the park theater. No evening services will be held at United Brethren or Presbyterian churches. the union service will proceed. He is active in ministry and currently associate director of the Chautauqua Association of Pennsylvania. He is noted for large pulpits on Sabbaths when not serving Chautauqua duties and will speak August 4 at 7 30 in the park theater.
