Hikers Visit Town From Summer Camp Near Colebrook
A group from Camp Shand walked to Hershey last Sunday, leaving at five and arriving after seven. Director Blaser greeted them at the Y M C A gym, then guide Lester Hummel led them to Swatara creek’s deepest hole. They spent the night outdoors, cooked breakfast, and the bull that trouble locals attacked the mess crew. The party toured a local factory before returning home, described as a husky, tanned crowd led by John Fritz and Alfred N. Sayers with members including James Wait and others.
