Noon Lunch Trials At Park Gym For Girls
The Noonday lunch committee at the Park gymnasium faced frozen pipes and no water or stove on opening day. An oil stove was secured with help from Mr. Von Neida and fifty girls were served. the next day sixty five. The YWCA aims to meet a need not earn profit and plans to continue until the cafeteria opens, offering coffee and soup to men who bring buckets.
