Hershey Traction Company to Expand Trolley Network
The extensive trolley system between Hummelstown and Palmyra will be renamed Hershey Traction Company of Dauphin and Lebanon Counties. The line will extend from Hershey to Campbelltown, then to Leb anon, with through service to Harrisburg and Myerstown. Cars will be modernized with own power plants and no overhead lines, improving dairy and factory transport to Hershey Chocolate Company and surrounding communities.
