Ambulance Corps Campaign Opens Here On Monday
The Hershey Ambulance Corps fundraising drive begins Monday, running February 22 through 28 to raise nine thousand dollars for the ambulance and equipment. The Hershey Volunteer Fire Company sponsors the effort with volunteers assigned territories and supplied materials at a Sunday planning meeting. Letters were mailed to Derry Township Union Deposit and Sand Beach residents to explain the setup and gain broad community support.

PTA session highlights study groups on traffic safety
At the February PTA meeting in Derry Township two study groups presented findings and recommendations. One group led by Mrs. Ralph Horst urged a traffic signal in the square, adult crossing guards, and police aid at dangerous crossings to protect school children. The second group led by Mrs. John Mentzer focused on high school age students and faculty, with details continued on Page Three.
