Hershey BPW Club Marks First Anniversary Dinner
The Hershey Business and Professional Women's Club celebrated its first anniversary with a dinner in the Community Club dining room last Wednesday. State Chamber of Commerce Research Director Arnold L. Edmonds spoke on fiscal fees for Pennsylvania in 1954. fifteen Elizabethtown BPW Club members attended as guests. New members welcomed were Miss Jessie Nucci, Mrs Margaret Damore, Mrs Jean Hoerner, and Mrs June Hartsock. Delegates and alternates to the Buck Hill Falls state convention were Mrs Charles Downin, Miss Irene Dietrich, Miss Romaine Shelley, and Mrs Margaret Deets.

A Valentine party for local teens is set for Saturday evening at the Hershey Fire Company hall. It is the second in a series sponsored by the Berry Township Teenage Recreation Council formed by the PTA American Legion BPW Club. Firefighters Rally To Rebuild Bell Family Home
Area volunteers from Hershey Hummelstown and Union Deposit fire companies plan to build a new home for Mr and Mrs Albert Bell and their seven children after a flash fire left them homeless on Mountain View. Construction to begin Saturday weather permitting with local volunteers needed for labor and supplies including lumber donated by Irvin Hess and a former gas station building. About 200 blocks donated toward a goal of 1000. Continued on Page Two.
