Parents sue over fatal accident involving unlicensed teen
The Farnsworths of New Braunfels and Spicewood filed a Harris County lawsuit naming Fernando Diaz Jr and Diaz Sr along with Cemex U S A and related companies. After a fatal October 9 1999 crash Diaz and Farnsworth were honored at NBHS with a student led ceremony. ROTC cadets lowered the flag while a drill team carried portraits in a hallway display. Librarians dedicated three commemorative books and plan a tribute picture for the pair.
