Luxury tableware trends include two finger bowls per setting, colonial cut glass, delicate porcelain and brass, with Persian motifs and lace-like tracery on new soup plates. A traditional braised leg of mutton recipe details browning, braising, and garnish steps.

Department of the Interior Land Office at The Dalles Oregon May 1904 notice that Howard H. Gove of Heppner Oregon has fled notice of intent to make final proof for his claim on the Big NW and E2 SWY Section 9 Township 1 South Range 3 East Willamette meridian. Proof will be made before Walter Crawford county clerk Heppner Oregon June 10 1904. Witnesses to prove continuous residence and cultivation are Hamilton Burchell John B. Carmichael Shelby Taylor and G D Taylor all of Lexington Oregon. Michael T Nolan register.
A sheriff sale is set by execution of May 17 1901 in Morrow County Oregon. W H Gollia as executor of Jane Rees deceased leads against Dore Fields Effie Rhea and others with judgments totaling 250 dollars plus interest and 3000 dollars attorney fees plus costs. Sale will be July 7 1901 at 10 am at the front door of the courthouse Heppner for cash. The property includes extensive described parcels in Townships 14 and 28 in Morrow County Oregon as listed in the notice. K M Snurtz Sheriff Dated Heppner Oregon June 15 1901.
R White of Coachella California sues a local doctor for 12 50 alleging excessive charge for cholera morbus treatment. White claims the doctor praised his skill and medicines but would not deny using Chamberlain's Colic Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy under oath. Slocum Drug Co sold the remedy cited.
