Fire Destroys Barn on Quinn Farm in Saratoga Township
The barn on Albert Quinn’s Saratoga Township farm, housing ten horses, grain, seed corn and harness, burned around 10 o’clock with wind from the northwest. James Barry occupied the farm. neighbors, led by Lyman Sutton, helped rescue livestock and prevent further loss. The fire origin remains a mystery, but haymow flames were strongest as the barn burned last summer’s completion. Barry’s loss around $3,000. Barry insured stock, grain and hay. Mary Murnane Dwyer wife of David Dwyer died at age 40 after a long life in Henry and Marshall counties born January 26 1872 in Casey Indiana. She leaves two sons a daughter a husband and one brother Daniel Murnane of Marshall with wife and child. A devout Catholic she belonged to St Josephs church and Altar society. Funeral at St Josephs on Tuesday at 10 am with Rev Fr Brennan officiating pallbearers rank Dwyer Dennis Hartley John Barry John Williams Frank Baer W L Flynn interment in St Josephs cemetery.

St John’s Church Epistle Announces Services and Guest Plans
St John’s Episcopal welcomes all not allied with another church to worship in the usual order next Sunday.
