Frank Wood Dies at 78 at Swan Lake Home
Frank Wood 78 lifelong Marshall County resident died at his Swan Lake shore home near Henry last Friday before noon after years of declining health following a stroke. Funeral services were held Sunday at his residence with Rev. W J Carpenter of Kewanee officiating. Interment followed in Henry City cemetery. He was born December 13 1854 at Plano Illinois and married Olive J Powers in 1876 at Streator. He leaves his widow two sons James L and Harrison G of Henry, a brother Charles A Wood of Putnam, two granddaughters and four great grandchildren. He was a Knights of Pythias member and Swan Lake club founder.
