Gov. Pat McCrory awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine to Honor Air founder Jeff Miller in Hendersonville. He praised Miller for organizing free trips for World War II veterans to Washington to see the National World War II Memorial and noted the growing impact of Honor Air since 2006.
