Apodaca vows sizable pay raise for teachers at rally
Aggrieved teachers and education advocates gathered at Henderson County Court House Square to denounce cuts and push for a reversal. Tom Apodaca said a Senate budget proposal will include a sizable pay increase for teachers and that 51 percent of K 12 spending should go to the classroom.
