Blue Ridge Bookfest ends after eight years of reading events
Bill Ramsey announced the decision to discontinue Blue Ridge Bookfest citing declining attendance dwindling volunteers reduced donor funding and higher keynote costs. The group will donate its remaining 1515 dollars to BRCCs student creative writing program, recognizing eight years of community literary experiences.
