Henderson County budget vote preserves fund balance and tax stance
Henderson County commissioners finished the 2013-14 budget without a tax increase. They rejected a 1.36 cent tax cut, keeping a multi‑million dollar reserve to fund deputies, ambulances, a training facility, and school iPads while supporting public safety and nonprofit funding.
