EHHS grad serves in largest naval drill RIMPAC 2016
Hendersonville native Petty Officer 3rd Class Jonathan Connor, an aviation boatswain's mate aboard USS America based at Pearl Harbor, participates in RIMPAC 2016. The biennial exercise includes 45 ships, five submarines, 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel from 26 nations, testing disaster relief, sea control and allied interoperability. Connor says he aims to sightsee and notes the experience builds cross‑culture understanding and Navy readiness.
