Saluda group saves historic train depot on purchase
Saluda citizens completed an 18 month effort by purchasing the town 1903 train depot, a National Register site moved to Main Street in 1983. The nonprofit plans a museum, events, and grants with support from Morton Apple Valley Model Train Club, Dr. Fred McConnell, Entegra Bank, Riverstreet Networks, WHKP radio, and local donors.
