Pardee Hospital buys 20 acres on NC 280 in Mills River
Pardee Hospital has purchased 20 acres on North Carolina 280 across from Ingles for 1.75 million dollars from the Moore family. The purchase, recorded Dec. 18, fits Pardee's stated plan to address growth in Henderson County, especially Etowah, Mills River, and Fletcher, and to evaluate final options with input from industry and the community. The land was rezoned prior to sale from neighborhood commercial to general business to accommodate future development along the five-lane corridor carrying about 20,000 cars daily.
