Narcan training expands for Henderson County first responders
Henderson County EMTs and fire crews are training to administer Narcan to overdose victims after state regulators approved its use by law enforcement and first responders. Julie Honeycutt, whose daughter Anna died of an overdose, leads HopeRx and urges community awareness while firefighters note Narcan reverses opioid effects with minimal risk. Training runs Jan 7–9 at Sugarloaf station with Honeycutt addressing crews on the family impact and prevention efforts.
