Hendersonville council awards $1.62 million Main Street makeover contract
Hendersonville City Council unanimously awarded a $1.62 million contract to Trace and Co of Mountain Home for phase three of the Main Street makeover. The action followed the withdrawal of the apparent low bidder Buchanan and Lois of Whittier after bid issues and an internal audit flagged a $100,000 electrical error. The winning bid beat Moore and Son Site Contractors Inc. of Mills River, which offered $1.815 million.
