New Wall of Honor pays tribute to veterans
Retired U S Army major Bob Johnson inspired Henderson County’s Wall of Honor dedication. Johnson recalled the idea of a blank check of service and compared it to Forrest Gump’s box of chocolates while noting Vietnam and the more than 58 000 service members who died. The keynote speaker announced the project’s expected growth and honored more than 60 veterans and families.
