Hendersonville High Band Captures Gold at Heritage Festival
Hendersonville High School’s 87-piece band earned a Gold rating at the Heritage Festival in St. Louis. Olivia Baer, named in a leadership award, serves as band librarian and logistics lead, organizing permissions slips and inventory. Jim Phillips, in his first year leading the program, praised Baer for elevating the group and guiding music readiness. The trip included education on the Arch Riverboat Tom Sawyer, the zoo, and a historic courthouse visit.
