Empty tankers spark Flat Rock neighborhood worry

Residents along the inactive Watco line from Flat Rock to Zirconia fear the long line of black tankers on Highland Lake Village property is unsightly. Watco Blue Ridge Southern Railroad says the cars are empty residue units and may be cycled in and out. some carry LP gas labels, with a one year lease and possible renewal. Tankers numbered about 30 remain on the track between Highland Lake Drive and West Blue Ridge Road.
