RFID production moves into Asheville airport office

AdvantageWest exited after funding ended and Smartrac leased the Asheville Regional Airport building for its RFID tag production and software development. Smartrac runs a facility in Fletcher with about 100 employees and uses the space for research, sales, and administration. A separate note covers a sewer pipeline on North Rugby Road and Cane Creek Sewer District plans.

Local novelist Rose Senehi to speak at April lunch

Rose Senehi, author of Render Unto the Valley, will headline Henderson County Public Library’s literary lunch at noon on Thursday April 14 in Kaplan Auditorium.
