Mr. Woolley Attends Dallas Confederate Reunion
The Dallas reunion brings news of surviving veterans. Few Confed erate soldiers remain in Hearne including Mr. L Woolley and Mr. A B Bryan both aged and unable to attend. Woolley enlisted in Bibb County Alabama in 1863, fought through Lookout Mountain and Georgia campaigns, surrendered in 1865 near Greensboro, then walked home many miles to Alabama.
