A 37 year old suspect, James Morley, attempted to pass forged signatures of O H Shoemaker and E Rose at Frager and Marty's clothing stores. He fled after a chase along Castro and B streets, leaving behind a $30 check and a recovered $25 cash dispute. Principe and Frager sustained a $25 loss. Morley reportedly used stolen Lumber Co. checks from Livermore.

Second Redwood Road Unit Gets Underway
