Frankie Denny, veteran light heavyweight, broke his left wrist in the fourth round of a scheduled one round main event with Willard Dix at the Arcadia pavilion last night. Referee Willie Ritchie stopped the bout in the sixth after Denny continued with one hand. Dix pressed early with hard body work before fading, while Denny fought on despite the injury. George Peat was elected junior councillor Tuesday night for Washington chapter of De Molay, taking over from Dick Corell who heaving this part of the state. Peat, in the chapter three years, will assist Forrest Lindsay and Gordon Hausch Jr. present councillors.
