Twelve judges from out of town will award two prizes in the Hayward Yara and Garden contest. The first prize is set for June. Mrs. Florence Frich- SEldt, president of the Hayward Garden club, announced the plan amid many garden awards in the East Bay. A week will be needed to complete the garden survey judged by the panel. Elliott Hall services planned for a Houston man who died in Wisconsin last Saturday will be held locally. Mr Hall formerly lived in Hayward and is survived by Mrs Hall and a daughter of Mr and Mrs George Godell.
