Paving Dublin Canyon Roadway Advances With Bridges Complete
The Dublin canyon highway nears half completion under Casson and Lee. Work began last fall, halted by rain, resumes with 20 trucks and 40 men. Three new bridges at Palomares Canyon Inn and Castro Hill are finished for heavy summer traffic and a $179,000 contract aims to finish paving by July first. Asphalt to be laid starting mid next week as base rock already lies midway.

Sunset Improvement Club reorganized with rapid growth
The Sunset Improvement Club led by president H C P Morse has grown from five to over 200 members in about a year. It has spent about 900 on school equipment for Sauset school including a piano and kitchen items, and secured gravel roads and street lights for the Santel district through club efforts.
