Henry M. Sorensen Jr died at 10 30 p m Saturday from injuries after a collision at B and Main streets involving Sorensen Brothers ambulance and a Navy Shore Patrol wagon. Five wagon occupants sustained minor injuries. Sorensen’s funeral set for Wednesday at the Sorensen Chapel.

Rattlesnake Killed By Mrs Warren In Cull Canyon
Mrs. Warren earned heroic status Sunday by killing four large rattlesnakes in her Cull Canyon yard. Using a hoe, she faced the danger alone and ended the threat, the five foot serpent with six rattlers measuring four inches in diameter. Stabbed By Mate Woman Refuses To Make Charges
Raymond Lawrence and his wife Laura Lawrence had a domestic quarrel that ended with Raymond stabbing Laura in the kitchen with a butcher knife. Laura, 34, declined to press charges as deputies reported the incident occurred Sunday morning at their Paradise Boulevard home. Laura was taken to Fairmont Hospital with a four and a half inch by four inch wound just below the tenth rib. their 14 year old daughter Anna aided in stopping the knife from further harm.
